Welcome to our website
The Practice consists of our GP consulting rooms, Practice Nurse clinic and treatment rooms. In addition there are also facilities for other visiting specialists.
All GP, Practice Nurse and Healthcare Assistant surgeries run on an appointment system, although provision will always be made for serious emergencies. Emergencies will always be seen where the doctor considers this is required on medical grounds.
Closure of Practice Repeat Prescription Line
As of the 14th August 2015 we will no longer be taking repeat prescription requests by phone.
We are taking this action to make the ordering process a safer and more controlled way for patients.
Please use the following ordering methods from the 14th August 2015 :
- Using our online ordering system through our website - www.prestonpanshealthcentre.scot.nhs.uk
- Using the right hand side of your repeat prescription sheet and tick off your required items which can be handed in to reception or into the pharmacy of your choice
- Speak to your preferred pharmacy and they will help order and keep your medications up to date
Thank you for your co-operation in making our prescription ordering a safer process.
Practice Closed to New Patient Registrations
Unfortunately due to the vast increase in our patient list size since 2009, we can no longer accept registration forms from new patient's (with the exception of new babies being born into existing families registered with us or immediate family members moving into a household where the family is already registered with us).
You may wish to contact one of the other local practices in the area to establish if you are able to register with them or alternatively you can contact Practitioner Services (Medical) on 0131 537 8488 for advice on where you can register.
We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause.
Patients are free to consult any available doctor. However, if you wish to see a particular doctor you may need to wait a little longer for an appointment.
