At all times when the surgery is closed, telephone NHS 24 on the number above. Your call will be put through to NHS24 where a trained nurse will discuss your problem with you and advise what is best to do. If it is felt you need to see a doctor you may be invited to go to Roodlands Hospital in Haddington or the New Royal Infirmary at Little France.
It is important to remember that the Out of Hours Service is for URGENT problems only. Please ensure that a responsible person stays at the telephone number you give, as the doctor may need to call back for more information. All initial contact with the Out of Hours Service must be made by telephone.
